The Thunderbolt is definitely the Lady of the 2 woodies, but Cyclone is the Tomboy, a great coaster but a saucy girl of a coaster, though I love her all the same! :D

I'm going to bump this. I'm thinking about creating a blog post compiling the top things people want to see in the future and I feel like this thread is perfect for getting that list. What I want is exactly what the thread title says, "Economical Wishes for Future Projects". I don't want crazy, outlandish ideas. I want stuff that makes sense in the long run and fixes some problems the park currently has.

    Cyclone's First Drop
    New flat in Twister's spot
    Ferris Wheel
    Pandemonium Repaint
New Mind Eraser and Cyclone trains
    Retrack Cyclone without topper track.

I thought cyclone was running amazing today. Easily the best ride Iv'e had in years. Front row was awesome. But I wanna see new, lighter trains, re-tracking, painting and two train operation.

As for a new flat, it needs to go where twister was because it looks bizarre without a ride there. Maybe something like demon at laronde? That's what they replaced their top spin with..

    Here are mine

    more landscaping
This have been gettign better but the park could still step up it's game. I did hear they will add another water feature by Sky Screamer but that still leaves the park way short form it's old Fountain /water feature count. cleaner grassed areas more flowers and shrubs.

    Another Water Ride
I woudl suggest an Twist n Splash from Mack. Higher capacity then playing games with multiple Zamperla models. I know the park has a tea cut ride but we also have a demand for space. With a proper themed tub the park can present a very different ride.

    Mind Eraser
I know the common vote is to scrap it for something new. But While the park has a second inverted coaster it's a shell of what Mind Eraser is and can be. Instead of investing 6-10 million in a new ride after demolition costs. repaint, retheme, and add new trains to Mind Eraser. That would run closer to 2 - 2.5 million leaving Million to be reinvested throughout the park.

    Bring back the bridge
Traffic Control is a huge issue. Restoring the bridge woudl be a easy solution to the south end/Rockvill congestion. The old issues are really not a concern given that there is much more focus on the kiddie land side with the DC stairway and the food stand. People will still play games and buy gifts this will simply allow then an extra way to get around.

Goodby Looney Toons movie town/ Kidzopolis become new looney toons area
face it there is little left as it is. Marvin the martian has been shipped to Texas and The Reo Grand train is gone. The swings are a bit repetitive. Only 2 noteworthy rides remain and one, Great Chase, is barely in the area. Taz's Prop Delivery is a solid ride but the park has 2 other car rides. scrap the bus town and use the newer machine up in Whistle stop. Whistle Stop can also get the drop tower, swings get shipped off or sold. Great Chase replaces the Big Red Cars, the corner dose not need 2 car rides next to each other. rides get repainted, rethemed, and you now have a Looney toons area featuring primarily family rides.

Note - With Looney Tunes gone you now have an entire section of the park that can be repurposed. giving them room for the future.

Why I put cyclone so much is the rumors. if SFNE doesn't do anything to fix cyclone, its in the gutter. They give it bandages when it needs surgery.

Cyclone will need a major overhaul no mater what direction. though they have added topper track so some parts are not too bad.

Having ridden Vekoma's new trains at Morey's I can vouch for this. Obviously they have the option of the new Vekoma's or the Kumbak trains but either would be a huge improvement. A little track reshaping/sanding to go along with the new trains and you have yourself a decent ride (depending on who you ask...I'd say the majority of people like what Morey's did with their SLC)

Obviously you get a little banged up from Mind Eraser but you can't take away it has some intense moments for being a compact coaster. I personally like SLC's.

I'm 100% team mind eraser. I don't care if it kicks the crap out of you, it's intense, thrilling and fast. Making it one of my favorite rides at the park. Some track rehab and new restraints will make it awesome!

Mind eraser is a great layout. I was hugely impressed with my first rides back in 2000. but as it has gotten more and more rough it simply is less enjoyable.

I really do like the Mind Eraser. Though I wouldn’t mind it getting the boot(the great escape possibly being its new home) if an intense launching coaster were to replace it. Otherwise I agree Mind Eraser should stay.

I personally don't Think TGE will ever get a SLC, They had one sitting at the park for a couple years and it was never installed.

A launch coaster deff wouldn't fit there. You cant do anything in between batman and bizarro's turn. And they wouldn't remove route 66.
If ME was to get the boot, I could see TGE getting it but that wouldn't be for a while.

^Not unless you move Catwoman/Poison Ivy to a different section of the park, and use that area for queue and station.
