The thing about launch coasters is that you can get really creative with the design. Just because we say mind erasers spot doesn't mean it will be contained to that spot.

Yes but there's nowhere else it can go. There's no way something like that would happen.
I doubt they would spend the money and effort on moving catwomen.

The one place I was thinking of is where the New England express currently stands. It would obviously be removed first, but from the looks of it, the train ride doesn’t seem to be anything special.

What he means by getting creative with the design is simply the fact that launch coasters don't utilize a lift hill which is as I imagine the hardest part of a standard coaster to place. Basically all that is needed is a launch track that may be some odds of only 100 ft at the least. Basically a launch coaster could be placed in the big plaza in front of blitz and launch out, jump over the tea cups and even interact with mind eraser and then their wouldn't be a need to remove it! (I know six flags would never do that, it was just an example.)

EDIT: SORRY FOR BEING OFF TOPIC

Launch coaster aren't all that economical and if we were to get one we will see what we have seen in the past a ride or rides will be removed to level out costs. We lost 2 rides to cover costs of Sky scream and I suspect start funding our next addition. But this is not a speculation thread.

Economically a rehab and re-theme costs far less then removing and replacing. The park has to debate whether the ride is at or beyond it's shelf life and or The attraction has run it's demand at the property and is i a position to be relocated to another property or sold at value.

No ride should ever get scraped unless an attempt to sell it was made with no luck.

The park has always been in need of trees. It's gotten worse over the last decade.

Maybe when they do HITP they will bring in a bunch of fake trees to line the midway so they can use them for decorations.

I believe they have vacuums to clean the midways so I'm sure leaves are not a concern.
