Future Attractions Surveys

    I just read the email and did the park survey for this year that gave some ideas for new rides for next year, among the ideas was a bunch of lights for the midway timed to music, a coaster rethemed, and a ride similar to Equinox at Canobie. I know I'm not the only one who would rather opt out of another coaster getting repainted and called a new attraction but I felt the other 2 options sounded neat!

    I didn't get this. I have gotten ones about Holiday in the Park though. This one sounds interesting though.

    If they didn't ask for your discretion in it, can you post the link to it. Just paste the link and remove the code with your email and everyone should be able to take it.

    email I got asked for feedback on three new attraction ideas
    1. a new/themed coaster :)
    2. a new flat:)
    3. a drive in movie in the parking lot!:(

    A little off topic, but I also went in and took the survey for GADV and their also wasn't any mention of a coaster and one of our parks are bound to get one next year so I'm sure these aren't the only options!

    It seems like each park is getting the same rotation of questions. Each survey gives you three options and it's totally random. Mine were interactive shooting experience on a train ride (which SFNE clearly doesn't have), drive in movie in the parking lot (awful idea), and dive in movie in the wave pool.

    I know I shouldn't have done this but I took it two other times with different emails. Every time I got the stupid interactive train ride. The second time I got a ride like Tsunami Soaker. Then I got one about controlling a ride with your scream. It sounded stupid. Third time I got a retheme of a water slide with special effects. Sounds stupid again. I also got the one with a ride similar to Equinox. The key word here was it would only be at the park for a limited time. So I assume it would be shipped off to another park, sort of like a carnival. That leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

    To me it sounds like corporate is thinking of ways to add cheap additions to the parks; either by buying a traveling ride and shipping it to the parks, adding effects to existing rides, or adding smaller rides.

    I got a dark ride option where the people make music by selecting buttons. the ride would include lights and fog. I got one about the park having a event like fright fest for mardi gra and I also got the scream controlled ride also

    I didn't like any of the options it gave me.
    Chinese light show
    Water slide affects
    Drive in theater (it would be really cool but where would it go? In their already packed parking lot...

    Well that was stupid, I think it is a universal thing for all parks so no one park is zeroed in on something. Clearly I am sure each park already has their 2015 plans finalized. I got Chinese light show, drive in theater, and a rock climing/play area themed to superheroes.

    The drive in theater idea actually does not sound that bad, If it was done right it would be kinda cool. But if Six Flags decides to rotate rides yearly or something...that would be stupid.

    I wish more of the surveys were actually about one park and not every park, seems like they have some decent ideas and some not so good ones.

    I got the one about the food stand and stand name last week along with one about employee appearance and possible regulation changes for female employees.
