I've heard a rumor that the new train was only leased and the lease is up this year, so who knows what's going to happen with the ride.

They own the train, it’s warranty is what’s ending this year.

I thought so, I can't picture a coaster train being leased.

That being said - I think this could be a decent ride if they still had the original train and put the new Riddler-style restraints on it, this Premier train - again being a prototype - has been nothing but trouble from the word "go"...

This makes more sense. Why would you lease a specialty train. It's not like They can send that train to any Vekoma coaster they want.

I’m pretty sure that train is ours.

It is. The park spent a boatload of money to have it custom-made.

correct me if I'm wrong, I'm also hearing that VEKoma makes a new train 4 across for this coaster, not sure how true it is, but i heard that somewhere and can't remember where I heard it!

There’s loads of used ride sites, but more often than not SFI either relocates rides or scraps them so don’t think you’ll find much.

I just can’t figure out why it’s so bad this year, I mean I understand parts need to be replaced and what not, but twice this year, really? It has been only open a couple weeks then back down for at least another month.
