Almost all parks run their new flats on shorter programs the first year or two to help with crowds

I seriously do not get why anyone is complaining about it not spining much. Your going that high that fast. Thats a safty hazard if you wanta spin it alot. Besides this is not ment to spin alot its all about the hight and speed i personaly love it and will enjoy it for years. Maybe for the whiners they should chamge the name to harly quinns big happy hammer since thats one of her weapons a big hammer

It’s definitely not a safety hazard. We’re just pointing out that it spins slower than every Zamperla Giant Discovery.

What happened last year? The poorly maintained KMG Fireball at the Ohio fair? That didn’t break because it spun fast, it broke because they didn’t take care of it. Your posts make you seem extremely uneducated and please stop saying I’m whining. I’m bringing in knowledge I know from working at an amusement park, along with common sense. Also, the KMG Fireball at the Ohio fair is a completely different ride system.

I guess stating opinions are not allowed here with you around. Wow someone that works at an amusement park omg you must know everything your the expert if your so much a expert you should know why ecery rise does what it does and why every park does what they do. I guess you make the big bucks right and scare me oh get a life and grow up and grow thicker skin its all our opinions that make these places fun you are just one that ruins that fun be gone

Opinions are most certainly allowed, but you’re presenting yours in a way in which they come across as facts. I’m not saying I know everything because I work at a park, I was providing insight. If you would like to continue this conversation, don’t hesitate to PM me, but let’s not do it here, as we’re getting off topic.

Stating opinions and calling people names is very different. Check the terms here. I am surprised the mods haven't stepped in.

I guess I started this by noticing HQ didn't spin much. Because of the lack of spinning I thought it was visually underwhelming. Since I have little or no plans to ride it anyhow, I wouldn't call that whining. Rather, I would call it observing. You can have your opinion to the contrary but you don't have to get confrontational.

Oh.. and to imply that the lack of spinning is due to an accident at a carnival seems like quite a stretch.

When i rode it last saturday it was the first time i had ridden one of these twice in a row because normally they have a huge line. Riding it back to back like i did had me rocked for a while so there's definitely serious forces on the ride.

Just got off my third ride on Harley, it’s easily the best flat in the park, super fun. It’s basically a taller, faster, less forceful, slightly spinning screaming swing. It was very awesome and I feel like it would be very fun if it was spinning like crazy, but it probably wouldn’t appeal to as many people. Excellent addition!

I’ll have to think if it’s better than T&L, but the ride time is also way better by a long shot. T&L is definitly more forceful though.

That’s great to hear, I’m excited. What is T&L?

Thunder & Lightning, two swing rides at LC.

Thank you @depotrat, we can’t patrol these areas 24/7...

I really can’t wait to ride HQ. Hoping I can on Sunday but it looks like there’s going to be more rain.

Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually get rid of the “spinsanity” part of the name. Most people will just refer to it as HQ anyway. I’m glad it’s not spinning like crazy, it actually makes me want to ride more knowing that it doesn’t spin that much.

Does anyone else think there's some sort of problems with the ride? The park still hasn't turned the lighting on which is surprising to me. Kyle filmed them testing the lights in the day time but still not at night.

Here's how the one in SFOT looks at night.
