I saw a group get booted in my visit in June. When they went to ride Boulder Dash, the ride operator was told they couldn't ride since they were seen standing up on another ride. 99% of the time they'd deny such a claim but their response was that they were only standing for 5 seconds. It's people like this that ruin it for everyone.

Exactly, and their families would be the first to sew saying it was the parks fault for letting them stand up.

@koasterkid , had the same experience. People are absolutely ridiculous standing and using phones on that ride.

Yeah, when I was there last week there were a group of three girls who were literally trying to stand up the entire ride. And the phone thing has gotten really out of control as @dschu can tell you about :D

I’ve seen plenty of idiots on BD and other rides and they are going to ruin everything for us one of these days. They don’t even have a quality speaker system up the lift on BD and they should at least have that and a couple cameras. These people need to be banned.

Wife and daughter went to the water park for the 4th time this Summer. Mammoth Falls has been "closed for maintenance" every time.

Same thing happened two years ago. It was closed for almost the entire Summer.

If it has that many problems, then it should be replaced

A pipe broke underground and they would have to close the train in order to fix it so it’s going to be down for the year most likely.

I think with their water park it would be worth not having the trains fora week or so to get the slide up and running.

That was there in 2014, it is weird and I’m not sure what the point of it is.

Also the green train is back on BD.

Didn't know that. you think they would have fixed it by now. especially since LC opted to put Millennium Flyers on Wildcat not Gravity Group trains.

Stopped by the park tonight. Light crowd as expected this early into their Halloween season. There’s a new center display this year in the round garden after the ticket booths. It looks similar to the castle entrance to The Haunted Graveyard, however it’s still incomplete.

HG was nice. Similar to last year although the queue section towards the entrance looked as though the layout’s been rearranged and improved for efficiency a bit. You had to watch where you were walking throughout the area because of some muddy areas left over from the earlier rain.

Phobia has the new photo stand now open across the exit at the Soup Kettle snack bar with about a dozen TV screens to choose your snapshot from. One thing I was really disappointed in is the new lighting package on WildCat. If you didn’t look very hard, you wouldn’t notice much of it. It’s that dim. They need to add more top lighting to make it at least, visible. Bringing back the chase lights would really help WC, and I’ve asked top management about it but they seem reticent to even discuss it.

The outside deck of the Croc Pot Cafe was again converted into the Zombie Lounge and looked like it had a wide assortment of beer vendors. The furniture from the relaxation station was moved there and it looked as though they added some new wooden seats. I thought that the entrance sign to it, lit up in crazy fluorescent colored letters looked awesome. The entrance to Bouldedash has some new Halloween themeing too, up on the hill to the right.

Overall, it was fun. I’m sure as the season progresses, they’ll add a bit more and finish off what needs to be completed as the heavier crowds come in with their own variety of costumes.

Their Behind the Screams event on Saturday was pretty awesome! I got to film the haunt 3 times lol, 1 on a go pro, 1 on a night vision go pro knockoff and my go pro fusion 360 cam. I'll start editing this tomorrow and see what happens!

Yes, very interesting. A new CEO can alter the direction a company takes. Parques Reunidos likes to take the roll of being the financial backer of its parks and generally allows each park to make their own autonomous decisions regarding the direction the park wants to pursue. They also tend to allot more money to parks depending on the success of guest attendance.

It’ll be interesting to watch who gets chosen as the next CEO to see if this trend continues. It’ll also be interesting to see how the company regards their American operations in the future. Historically, the European parks seem to be the best developed and it would be nice to see this side of the Atlantic Ocean get some needed attention.
