I’m afraid of 90 degree lifts. It cost me a credit on Fahrenheit. Can someone help me get over my fear?

Sit in a chair. Slowly lean back until you find that "oh crap" moment where you can't balance yourself anymore and you just fall. I can tell you, that is a hell of a lot scarier than any roller coaster. You'll then be sitting facing up, just like you'd feel on a coaster with a vertical lift.

I’m mainly afraid of getting stuck on one.. what’s the evac plan?

Alright, all jokes aside. They have an elevator that they bring up the side of the lift. So in the case of an evac, they'd unlock your restraint, secure you to a harness, and get you on to the elevator (which is one step from your seat) and lower you down.

I get they can be intimidating. but focus on the thrills that lie beyond the short lift.

That’s relieving, I just need to be ready because I’m not missing out on Tantrum.

Visit Canobie. Untamed is only 73 ft tall and takes maybe 20 second or so. It's a good vertical lift stepping stone to the bigger ones you 're looking to ride.

I really hope to someday but I doubt it’ll happen this year. Tantrum will definitely be my next opportunity.
