    Hello everyone,

As I'm sure some of you are aware, parts of the site have been hacked. We're not sure the full breach of this at the moment. As a precaution, we're asking all of you to reset your passwords for the forum. While we don't think any user data was accessed, it doesn't hurt to take this extra precaution.

To reset your password, click your username on the top right corner of the screen, then click password. You'll be asked to enter in your current password as well as the new password.

Again, we don't have any reason to believe any data has been accessed for the forum. This attack appears to be mostly focused on the homepage content. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

    Thanks,
    -WiCy#1

    Tips for passwords:

    1. Mix upper and lower case - passwords are case-sensitive.
    2. Mix letters and numbers, and add some special characters.

Ultimately what you choose for a password is up to you, but you need to make it difficult for anyone to guess, and by throwing in numbers, special characters and mixing upper and lower case it will make it harder for malware or a bot to crack it.

I got an e-mail today saying my password had been changed, so I went to the password change area and entered the current one and changed it again, the change went through so not sure if my previous password got hacked, but I changed it anyway. If you got an e-mail today from the site that your password was changed and you didn't do it, you should check and change it if you can.

I saw some weird stuff on the homepage that said it was written by dj last night, looks like it was cleaned up today though.

That was your Wordpress password... That had gotten hacked. It had nothing to do with the forum, so no one has anything to worry about.
