I guess I just don't think that changing the name and a bit of work would have drawn the interest that the change to WC got. It really is a special ride and the lines have shown their ROI to be pretty good so far.

The original Cyclone was a great coaster. The changed drop poor maintenance turned it into a piece of crap. The PTC trains were beating the coaster up the Morgans may have been a bit uncomfortable but they rain very well on the complex layout. I think it RMC had Come in finished retacking the coaster with topper track, returned the original drop, re-profiled the rough and weak sections. The park woudl have still had bragging rights to 2 wood coasters and yes with teh right marketing drawn plenty of attention to the rehab. The majority of SFNE customers are locals anyways.

Wouldn't raptor track make more sense at a small park? Seems like Knotts might need something with better capacity.

I know the secret info. This is obviously Quassy 2018 /s

We still don't know the details for kennywoods new rmc for 2018! So we have Hurler being converted, Meanstreak conversion and Kennywoods rmc. Thats 3 projects for 2018, is there another one?

Yeah IDK I was just going off of what other people were saying. The area Knotts has free is very limited, plus they just removed their boomerang.

I wonder which park is getting this type of coaster first? Could SF be getting some of these as mentioned in the video from coaster con by SF CEO? Could it be a replacement for Flashback? ;)

Patiently waiting for land clearing at GAdv for either a Raptor or T-Rex coaster. It would make a lot more sense for us than a ground-up wooden coaster. Definitely see it as a possibility since we and SFOG are the only major SF parks without an RMC. I am sure RMC would cut SF a break on this first batch of Raptors/T-Rex's considering they are prototypes and the fact that SF gave them so much business the last few years.

I know I'm getting my hopes up but I think fitting in wise, it couldn't fit better into a SF park than at TGE. The capacity isn't a huge deal there, and it would give them a signature steel coaster.
