Always liked Talon. It may be a bit better than Steel Force. We have always found Dorney a bit lackluster though so it has been years since we have been there.

Yeah Dorney seems to be in a similar boat as TGE with regard to their places in the CF & SF chains respectively, but if you get the opportunity next season, I suggest giving the Coaster Madness a try - well worth it for the haunts alone, and riding Talon at night is amazing. It happens Columbus Day weekend, the day after PPP @ Knoebels.

Back to the topic at hand, I'm re-evaluating my Top 10s, which I haven't updated in a few years...

    Steel:
    10. Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast - SF St, Louis
    9. Maverick - Cedar Point (tentative pending my evaluation of the new restraints)
    8. Intimidator-305 - Kings Dominion
    7. Talon - Dorney
    6. Griffon - Busch Gardens Williamsburg
    5. Top Thrill Dragster - Cedar Point
    4. Diamondback - Kings Island
    3. Phantom's Revenge - Kennywood
    2. Banshee - Kings Island
    1. Superman - SFNE

    Wood:
    10. Jack Rabbit - Kennywood
    9. Boss - SF St. Louis
    8. Wild One - SF America
    7. Legend - Holiday World
    6. Comet - Great Escape
    5. Outlaw Run - Silver Dollar City
    4. Boulder Dash - Lake Compounce
    3. Phoenix - Knoebels
    2. Thunderhead - Dollywood
    1. Beast - Kings Island
Honorable Mention - Excalibur @ Funtown Splashtown

El Toro is out of my Top 10 due to the double whammy of the thigh-squishing lap bars and the locker policy.

Not to mention the decline of the quality of the ride! It was better in November when we rode compared to July. The hope is some off season work will restore it to it's former glory.
