Dorney has done some truly spectacular things with all of their haunts this season, all of which are included with admission, their only upcharge is if you want front-of-the-line access - and bonus rooms that they didn't have last season, however, there is one haunt that requires the upcharge Fright Lane (Fast Lane for the haunts) in order to go through it, but I digress, watch for a review of Dorney's haunts on an upcoming episode of The Grove from Tina and me...

Now back to Fright Fest discussion...

Yeah isn't it $60 if you buy a ticket at the gate? And that doesn't include haunts? Seriously? LC has almost the same amount of rides open, the best haunted attraction in the area, and tickets are less than half. I think you can buy it online and a combo ticket is under $25.

move the Area 51 props to the woods and retheme it for next year- space ship crash scene- open up some new unique ideas.

split up the pricing for the haunts so that you have the option to get a tickets for them separately or $18/20 for all of them.
(I dont want to spend all night waiting in lines, Id rather hit some rides then do a single haunt)

I haven't seen many people buying admission at the front gate this year. There's actually an online deal for $61.99, you get admission to the park and a Scare Pass. That's just $2 more than the ticket at the gate.

That said, Dorney is a lot cheaper online. $35.99 includes admission and Haunt. Plus, their haunt is much better. At the gate, it's ~$52.99, which is still less expensive than SFNE. The major difference, and correct me if I'm wrong, is Cedar Fair season passes can't be used for Haunt season.

I think corporate is making all the parks use the Scare Pass this year. I agree, it's nice to be able to just do single haunts.

I think that might only apply to Knott's Berry Farm when they transform it into Knott's Scary Farm, our Platinum passes got us into Dorney for the Coaster Madness event and same thing last season when Coaster Crew hosted the event, so there was a discounted event fee for pass holders.

Talking with some one that just visited TGE you can buy the pass or pay per haunt. but it might be the case for the flagged parks

Alright that settles that then. I've mostly seen it associated with Knott's, so I figured it was like that for all Cedar Fair parks.

If you were able to plan and theme a haunt at SFNE, what would you do?
