I think this is actually a good idea, because for the most part we all mention each other by first name rather than usernames. So a directory (if that's what it would be called?) would be nice for some of our newer members that aren't in the "loop" yet
Lets see if we can get something set up! Basically we can start a new thread - in a list format. If anyone wants to add their name to it they can. Seeing as how most of us know each other by first name anyways I don't think it'll be a big deal. But this way you'd have the option.
Would this thread go in the "Welcome to SFNE Online" forum thing? You should actually ask one of the Mods/Admins to do a mass message to everyone asking permission to release first names, and he/she can start a new thread with a list of usernames to names. That's what I would do. I bet you can't guess what my name is... :lol:
Many of us who have met in person know who's who, but if anyone not in the list I started on the first page of this thread wishes to contribute their info to the list they are welcome to copy and paste the list into a new post and add their info. We're gonna leave that up to whoever doesn't mind sharing that info and not gonna force anyone to if they don't wish to.
