2015 Speculation Thread is now open!

    Things we know:
-2 new coasters coming to the park within the next four years
-No coasters that were designed just for the park have been added since Batman
-Mind Eraser and Flashback are close to being retired
-We're due for a new coaster

Keep this thread civil please. Realistic speculations ONLY. No wild fanboy dreams.

With SFNE opening in a few weeks I figured it was time to open this. Please see the rules I added to the first post.

New as in brand new or just from another park? If Flashback and Mind Eraser are going to be gone - I would think they'd use Mind Eraser's space for a new coaster. Flashback's area seems kind of cramped for another coaster.

I have heard rumors of a possible X-flight clone. Maybe this is in store for 2015? Especially if we get rid of Mind Eraser.

I'd love to know what you are hearing.

I'd be willing to bet that at least one of the coasters will be a RMC creation with six flag's recent trend. The other one I would think would be some sort of relocated coaster.

As weird as this sounds coming from me (and I hate to be doing this to all of you) but I have heard several things, some of which has been somewhat guessed by several people in other threads already... But I've made a promise (mostly to myself) that I wasn't going to leak anything about 2015 at all to anyone. That's going to make the park so happy I bet. Haha. It's more of a social experiment for me than anything else. Lol. So, that being said, don't expect many posts from me in this thread as I have in years past.

Cyclone iron treatment will most likely be one of those two coasters unfortunately. And prob a family coaster.
With iron cyclone I think we could see flash get the boot. I doubt mind eraser will bounce too.

As far as coaster wise I think our two coasters will consist of Iron Cyclone, and a Premier Launcher (Hopefully actually decent length), I also see the possibility of something along the lines of either a wing coaster for ME spot, the 4D B&M (if they start becoming a popular thing) or some other type of coaster where you sit differently like a coaster similar to Superman Ultimate Flight or Batwing, because we don't need Two Suspended coasters in the park which also brings up the the fact that we don't need 2 boomerangs that's why Goliath is such a Fantastic Coaster for the park, it kills 2 Birds with one stone and on top of that kicks almost every other coaster in the parks ass other than bizarro obviously. I see a family coaster very unlikely due to the fact that almost half our coaster lineup are family coasters. As far as what I believe will happen first, I'm putting my money on the iron Cyclone.

I really really like the past two posts. Ugh and getting the gist yet?
    ;)

EDIT: I'm hearing Iron Cyclone too.

As long as they heighten, and make it longer, Iron Cyclone wouldn’t be such a bad addition in my opinion.

Edit: But what about the buffer zone? Wouldn’t the park have a hard time getting it approved? I know that they approved NESS, but thats very different from a roller coaster, and makes less noise.

That is true but Technically IBox Treatment makes the coaster pretty damn quiet (as I've heard) due to the type of metals they use. I agree though if their not going to make it taller if Iron Cyclone happens I'd be EXTREMELY disappointed!

I'm fairly confident that Iron Cyclone is happening. I just wish the park would come up with a more original name...

I no hear nowhere, but based on SFI's record, they hope to generalize all of their roller coasters and reuse their names. It's a bit annoying but it allows for accurate assumptions for new attractions, especially if we know we are getting 2 new coasters within the next 4 years...
