Just a quick report. Had a good day! Didn't do too many dry rides because it was just so hot, but spent a lot of time in the waterpark. The lot was almost completely full and it reflected inside. The waterpark was very crowded but was still fun.

Rides that were closed were Screamin' Eagles, Flying Trapeze, and the Storytown Train.

Looks like the train might be closed for a while too because the park had a big sign made with the train's logo on it that said "For your safety, this ride is closed"and they attached it to the fence. Usually they just rope the entrance off if it's temporary. I spotted the train from the Timbertown walk through and it was just sitting in the back on the return loop.

Greezed Lightnin' was really fun. So much better than I expected. It was actually pretty forceful and the operator gave us a nice long cycle- 4 forward, 3 backward, and he stopped it upside down whenever he could. Awesome addition! (Didn't think I'd be saying that).

Comet's track work was good too. It definitely made it a better ride. And for those wondering, they did retrack the bottom of the drop a bit but not all the layers, just the top 1 or 2.

And to close, Raging River either got new boats or they were repainted- couldn't tell. But the seats inside looked new and it was a wet ride which was good. I wish they would turn the old waterfalls back on, but at least they had one of the smaller ones going.

Are the employees not being forced to make sure they have three inversions in both directions at GE?

I was there today and Raging River was closed and water was empty. A lot of other rides were closed also - Flying trapeze, Storytown train, Flashback, Screamin Eagles, and the Skyride all closed. Condor opened in the afternoon. Comet was running 1 train until the afternoon then they were running both. The only rough spot I noticed was at the bottom of the hill before the double down. Hot Rod USA looks great!

Skyride was open when I walked by it.

But yeah something was definitely done to the boats on raging river they were yellow last year. But yeah I didn't realize they could drain/fill raging river in a day?

Hm I have no idea. I'll have to pay attention next time. I'm wondering if maybe he tried to stop it at the top and reverse it, but he went too far? Not really sure how the joystick works though.

A couple things I forgot to mention too:
-Trabant's pad being removed looked really good. Thank god they got rid of it.
-Black Cobra was also closed but the sign said it was "scheduled to be closed". Who knows.

Black Cobra is the worst slide in Splashwater, its rarely open and when it is, the line takes forever to go down a super hot slide. They should just get rid of it and put some new slides in its place
