Edaville USA Discussion

If you didn't know Edaville is looking for a new owner. I have not been to Edaville. I hope some of you have. What did you like about the attraction? What do you you think should be changed by the new owner?

I went there once as a kid back in the late 1970s, I still only live a town away. I've been told it's not as good as it was back then.

My parents used to take me to the park when I was a little kid. All i really remember was riding the train in the snow while watching fireworks! Hopefully the parks fines a new owner, its a great attraction for the state!

Has anyone said why it;s not as good as it was back then?

I agree it's a great attraction for the state. MA has lost too much to see another attraction go under.

They bought Whalom's Tumble Bug. Anyone know the scoop?

^ I am pretty positive that it was/still is sitting on the side of the parking lot at Edaville.

Did they sell the track for scrap?

If they didn't yet, thats what will happen in the future. It's a goner.

Why not attempt to save it?

It's been sitting there doing nothing for over a decade.

The track is trashed it was too far rotted to be saved. the motor, tubs, and swing arms are in storage. This was the case a bit more the a year ago and I was told this by the owner.

Any idea if a new track could be purchased?

Wit the proper blue print or information form an operating ride A track could be built. It woudl be a lengthy ans a slightly costly project.

I donlt see Edaville goign it though. They have so much in the works and it's goign to keep then busy for a while.

I just realized that the park added a ballon race ride and bumper cars to the park. I am really excited for them.

They are now getting ready to add a dino land!

Yes teh Bumper cars were added for 2012. The Balloon ride was added a few weeks ago. It's An SBF ride like at LC.

I'm not sure if the Dino attraction will be a Dino Walk-through like the CF parks have added or a Dino sour train attraction.
