Or make rt 66 like a haunted drive through. Still use the cars but add theming. Not to scary, it could still be a family attraction.

I don't know about this year, but there has been theming Halloween theming along Rt. 66 in the past.

I could be wrong but I didn't see any theming on RT. 66 when I walked by again last night.

Alright so I guess they didn't do it this year. In years past there were cobwebs and stuff. I think one year they had one of the cars off of the track with skeletons in it. Here's some minimal stuff in 2010 where the old station was. I know there has been stuff along the track before too. Can't find any pictures though.

Also, remember when this was a thing?

I really wish Area 51 would get a huge makeover. I love the idea but they really downgraded it. With the insane money that you spend there, I expect a lot more from them. This was a pretty disappointing season for FF.

^ I gotta disagre. Aftermath is the best haunt since Slaiers layer. Lots of good actors. Pandy looks awesome again!

Can't say that. You didn't do The Aftermath. :p The amount of actors around the park and in the haunts is also a lot better than previous years. I think this has been the best Fright Fest in years. Does the event still need work? Definitely.

Very true but one haunt can't save the rest of the dissapointments.

5 minutes of "really good" Doesn't cut it. Overall it was mediocre.

I've been going to fright fest ever since I was a kid, I have to say this was the best year for fright fest hands down. Also I noticed that in Area 51 they have the employees working the games wearing green jumpsuits
