I wasn't offered a speedboat ride. Like you said most are already in the park. They had another kiddie coaster some bird trap thing and a ballon race type ride that went up higher than normal.

Well when a 3 year old has the same pass or membership as adults, there needs to be more options for them to make the money almost worth it. :/

Six flags needs to get on board with Cedar Fair’s pre-k pass!!!

I didn't see this survey, but last month the park sent out a survey about different Marvel characters, familiarity with them, and what rides would be associated with each character. Kind of strange because I have not heard anything even remotely close to SF making a deal with Marvel.

Only speed boat themed ride I know of is the Zamperla one but that's just a speed boat themed out the race car ride (speed trap i think it's called) already at the park. The balloon race on a tower sounds like a Samba tower. over the rainbow at Canobie and Edaville has one. There is also a sub par SBF version found at LC.

As for the bird trap. there was or still is a bird cage themed spinning ride at SFMM.
true but in fact a 3 year old has more to do. the park has around 17 kiddie rides. and then you have family rides with little to no height requirement like the Carousel, Houdini, teacups, balloon race. then look a the fact that outside of the magic show all the shows are focused towards younger kids.
I really like this theme. Would like to see the current loony toons area themed to this and Kidzopolis take on the looney toons theme.
I got that also. Tried to be as nice as possible during the Bizzarro theme suggestion. not to mention SFI woudl never get anything marvel. Universal has the east coast rights and Disney is using what they can;t claim and west coast is Disney land and Disney is not going to dilute something they can use there.

I had recently received a new survey for the park that was based around high speed thrill rides. One interesting thing to note was the emphasis on a coaster concept presented via a crappy quality No Limits animation that was similar to a stratacoaster with an inverting top hat followed by a camelback hump, along with a long layout featuring a bunch of large overbanks. I will try and provide a link when I find the email again.

I think that was on another thread here. Seems a bit pointless.

the new survey is about new member flashpass prices and by the sounds of it they are thinking of doing away with skip the line passes for members! WTF

That sucks. One of the main reasons I signed up for the DE membership.

They had a lot of options to choose from but the problem is that you have to pay monthly payments for 12 months when the park is only open for 9. Not to mention its only good for you so unless you go to the park alone all the time its not worth it.

That's a bit of a forced positive statement. of course the retention rate is better no one looking to visit 3-4 times a year like myself is going to get a top tear membership. but some of you who are in the position to visit often can find the value in it. So its lot like a season pass that is payed of in single to 2 visits so you might as well get it. You have to be looking to use it to justify the costs.

So the real question is did anyone actually get a membership and visit more often then they normally would have because of it.

A few years a go i started doing the memberships thing, and yea me going to the park more went up from having a reg season pass. To me tje price is what makes us want to use it more. But i could be wrong about some saying that the price line helps bring in park goers more. With the new memberships benefits helps alot more with the free drinks from platnum and up. And skip the line passes ect. I want to know how many actualy paied for the diamond elite for the free fright fest haunted house band.

I just got sent a survey this morning, it was talking about what elements of rides are most and least important, then the rest was focused on what the reception would be for a single rail coaster. Seems like they really want input in new coasters.

Raptor would be a better option. Last thing any of the SFI parks need is a low capacity shuttle coaster. Though maybe if the price s right t would be a fun addition to a water park.
