The survey’s aren’t park specific. Agreed in reality TGE isn’t in the mix but at some point maybe.

The power splash isn’t low capacity. It runs two trains with a turn table station.

I just got the Raptor survey. It was hard to pick my most important feature for a coaster.

Interesting, I don't recall seeing that in the video. Though to compare a 3 boat Chute ride gets 800pph.

That station dose help but that has what 5 rows of 4 and that ride took 2 minutes. so 600pph? If thats not low capacity what is.

If SFNE does get one it will probably be the standard model. Although I’m curious to see if SF’s might opt to go with a slightly larger version since both a larger Raptor and some sort of mid size track were discussed at IAAPA and no copied Raptors are being installed this coming year.

Either way I think it would be a great addition.

I just took a survey that was for Great Escape and the ride concept was a Dive coaster. The video that played showed all video clips from Griffon at BGW. It was very interesting and the description even said splashdown. Interesting to see if SF is considering adding a B&M again. Would be very interesting if it happens to be a Dive Coaster after the recent trend with CF

Definitely not at TGE and I’d be really surprised in general if they go with B&M. Something like HangTime maybe. Would love to be wrong though.

Do you think we may be at the start of another Coaster Wars? I don't mean with parks constantly getting 20+ million dollar coasters, but just in terms of adding as many as possible! I think SIx Flags is slowly getting the hint about all these clones, while some are still coming, but the return on investment and their quarterly numbers are showing that it's not bringing in the numbers they wanted. This is what I am hoping anyway!

I think we all want SF to stop with the same ride everywhere! Its time to bring something unique and something to bring the crowds and even if its flats, water rides or coasters, jsut different and not the same!

I think you might be thinking is Coaster Renaissance

The war was 2 or more parks fighting for dominance.

Maybe it's both because Cedar Fair and Six Flags are trying to beef up their collections. It seems like Cedar fair is trying to add some big coasters again, but SIx FLags is trying to add different types of coasters. That's why it seems like a war going on out there trying to be the first to get certain rides and have their parks keep the coaster count high. Let's face, all the parks have crazy debt and they just keep adding it on! With more new innovation coming out with trying to draw more and more guests, I think guests are getting warry of lame attractions!

I agree about the guests catching on and not liking what they see.Thing is when a coaster is very short and in all not that fun there is no amount of marketing that can fix that.

I get what your thinking. But is CP really adding more coaster just because of SFMM. CF would have to add I think 5 coasters in one years to take the crown and to win the war. I do see that happening. THE way was very much about quantity over quality. When SFMM finally took the crown that added I thank 3 coaster sin one year and 2 were smaller coasters relocated from other parks.

SFI has simply been Tugging along every one and a while adding something worth really talking about. While CF and even hershand has been really trying. Now you have Disney bringing in more coasters. Small parks adding coasters with more reasonably priced options out there.

That's why I would personally lean more towards Renaissance over war
