Ghost Town is getting so up in age and terrible these days. What would you do to improve it?

Some do not know this but there are acres of land behind the nightmare building. It opens up so much potential but would then invest. If they leveled the flume and the Nightmare building they could imagine that entire area.

There really isn't anything they can do in ghost town without removing something. Desperado kind of box's the whole area in, nothing is going to be done in that area unless they seriously reroute or remove the station for plunge. For a short term solution I'd put a coaster back in Nightmare and call it a day.

Which could work. I would have rather seen Gauntlet go to TGE and be put in the building then added to SFNE. But that still eaves the back of the park unused.

I remember way back I posted in one of those if I ran the park things about removing nightmare and and using the center and back area that way. use the existing tunnel and then have a path along the outside of desperado towards Demon.

Never, ever gonna happen, but fever dream here.

Gut it, remove literally everything but the buildings and bumper cars.

Condor gets a newer updated hybrid version. Steamin’ Demon is now a GTX Hyper with the bulk of the ride on Steamin’ Demon’s pad and the rest up on the hill above, call it Gunslinger or something. Nightmare building is now a SBF Moonraker completely in the dark called Tumbleweed (plenty of room left for storage). Half of Canyon Blaster’s pad is a Gravity Group coaster called Canyon Runner or something, and the other half houses a Unicoaster themed to a wagon wheel and a Hawk called Tomahawk. Reroute Desperado to go through part of CB’s bad so we don’t have to see Great Escape’s storage closet on that ride.

Nice ideas. It's nice to dream and I'm happy you pointed it out ahead of time.

That think I mentioned above had them building a hyper coaster out to the sand pit and back.

A bit more in reason I would love to see a new version of their removed Tornado dark ride back in the park.

I think we should start with the simple repaint of Canyon Blaster seeing its been 16 years since its last repainting and the thing looks atrocious.

I also think Desperado is nasty and needs a total overhaul.

Simple maintenance goes a long way!

This is a POV from the park from 2015- anyone who has seen it since can vouch for me that it has only gotten worse. And the helix, which is the most visible of the entire coaster, is the worst part.

Yep thats what Im talking about!

I wouldn’t mind a new paint scheme if they were going for a full repaint.

Something like Apocalypse’s color scheme would look awesome on CB. (not as good as a whole new coaster, though ;))

They actually did some repainting a few years back on the helix and they did an awful job and it has since peeled off. And it was most definitely not rolled and was sprayed because they got the red paint on the supports and it just looked very messy.

That really frustrates me. That ride is useless, if you’re gonna keep it at least treat it well. I wouldn’t mind so much if it were a small ride, but CB has arguably the best plot of land in the park and it’s mediocre at best.

They do need to repaint CB. I'd go more themed. Silver track, brown spine (rail track) brown supports.

As for it being useless I agree and don;t agree. I am not the biggest fan because it takes up a lot of space and dose very little. but My younger nieces and nephew very much enjoy it. and with a lack of family coasters in the park its needed until they have a better selection.

I get where you’re coming from, but that area could be used for a much better family coaster that even more people would enjoy. I still think a GG coaster would work wonders in that area. Maybe even a dueling one.
