I'm not against the idea at all. but it would need to be a family coaster. Like I said above it takes up a lot of space for what it dose.

Yes it should definitely be a family coaster, as should most of the coasters because it’s a family centric park. I still think they can thrive on family coasters if they do it right, or at all.

Another wood would be great. Maybe a little bigger then Roar or Wooden Warrior but still family focused. They could open up room for a few more attraction up there.

I really don't see blaster going anywhere anytime soon. I think it's much more likely that Desperado gets the axe before Blaster, but even then I think that's getting pretty far down the road.

Why Desperado? That’s the second best attraction in that area imo it would be a big loss for the park.

Canyon blaster looked really worn down when I went in august. It was middle of the road as far as the arrow mine trains I’ve done. Better than Runaway mine train and Trailblazer but not as good as road runner express. I’d be fine with them keeping it but I wish they could modify it to run two trains again. With 2 ops running the entire coaster and only 1 train, we waited 15 mins longer than we should have lol

Yeah if they’re gonna keep it they should give it 2 cars because that line is ridiculous at times.

The trend across all amusement parks is that log flumes are beginning to disappear. They are usually expensive to run, and as they age are starting to become maintenance issues. When I said that, I in no way was saying I would remove Desperado. I'm just saying that I think plunge would be the first to go out of Blaster and Desperado.

It’d be one thing if Desperado was a scenic ride but it goes through an abandonded Nightmare queue, there’s nothing blocking the maintenance areas it passes through, the show building before the drop looks awful, and when I rode it this summer, nothing in the show scene was moving. When they modified it for Canyon Blaster it really lost some charm.

Looked a lot nicer then I guess. I think even if they just rerouted it it would be so much better.

I agree its warn, Its not the bet layout but them we didn't even get the entire coaster we lost a third to half of it when it was reinstalled. as for the wait I don't think I waited any more then 15-20 to get on my last 2 trips.
Calling a trend is making a mountain out of a mole hill. SFI seems to be abandoning Their water rides all out and a few parks have removed theirs. but Parks are still adding them. the 2 top rated water rides in the world are both flumes. I would agree that parks are maybe taking out arrow flumes with no company to support it some parts are hard to come by.
They did that they made it shorter to fit in canyon blaster.
