    it is but They removed forest to build it so the environmental impact of the project is not as good as if they had built it over the parking lot or other open spots.

    Definitely one the best flat rides the park could get. I just hope the park does something with the landscaping around the ride because the view from the ride is the maintenance yard.

    It doesn't look much bigger then HQ and certainly not bigger then black widow at kennywood.

    Too bad SFGADV didn't open one week before SFNE this year. Such nice weather today would have yielded a good gate for them.

    Yes but for years SFGADV opened one week prior to SFNE. I am not sure when it changed to same week but my point was it didn't turnout good this year.

    Last year, Great Adventure’s opening weekend got snowed out. It’s just too risky to have it this early.

    This year it looks like SFNE decided to open a week early, traditionally they've always opened on the second Saturday in April, this year it's the first Saturday in April, might have been the same last year if I remember correctly, but I digress...

    I think mostly the parks try to sync up with local school vacations - so maybe that is the reason for the fluctuation.
