They better utilize it if they insist on keeping it. Eventually it can be removed though, it can have a flat there and be an add on to the new path that literally just houses the planes.

That would be a very small path and between 2 buildings. you wouldn't even be able to see the ride behind them.

Yeah, well this isn’t me dreaming. Look at the plans that have been posted- it’s a 6 foot wide path directly behind the building that will go to the queue.

Your right it dose seem to be staying with only the pergola coming out. Horrible set up. but its also separated from the water park so it would only starve people going down to use the Jets.

Probably not how many people are really going to remember the jets are back there and walk down what will look like a maintenance path.

I still think it would be cheaper to move it, it doesn’t make sense to build the path unless they have some other plans in the future.

Maybe, but a path is cheaper then it would cost to relocate the jets right now. the tea cups sit on a flat pad. easy bu the jets require a much bigger footer.

I moved 2 pages of posts to the Park Needs/Wants thread. Let's keep this thread as actual things happening around the park and use the Needs/Wants thread to talk about everyone's park dreams.

That seems cool, but wildly unnecessary.

That $120,000 can be half a flat ride, or saved for a big coaster.

How about we take that $120,000 for the sign and do some painting around the park? Alice in Wonderland? Flying Trapeze? The peeling Blizzard building that got painted in 2013? The peeling Sky Ride building that was JUST repainted 2 or 3 years ago?

But I do get it- better advertising to people driving by with the new sign. Can’t argue with that reasoning. But like the article says, having electronic signs all up and down Route 9 would be pretty ugly.

    This^

Repaint stuff, or fix the lights on some rides.

I went during Fright Fest and both Comet and the ferris wheel had half their lights out.

I have to agree they could better spend 120K.

The entrance is not all that far from the Highway exit. you don't have much time to read the sign so why spend that much money to have one that changes. you can just as easily put up signage for an upcoming event. not to mention you really only market to one direction.

@MetsFan make a great point on how many attractions need pain and you could paint a lot for 120,000 dollars

They can fix up about half of my overall problems with the park with $120,000 tbh.

That can contribute to the cost of removing the Bobsled!!
