Since I have pictures, I'll keep the writing short. It was hot today and the park was crowded. The water park had most of the crowds but the dry rides all had lines but nothing too bad. I rode Extreme Supernova for the first time today and it was really fun! Definitely better than Tomahawk, but not as good as the lap bar KMG Afterburner I've been on. It was fun for a smaller pendulum ride.

Other than that, the park's sign out front had a laundry list of rides closed but none of them were actually closed. The only ride besides the train closed was Bobsled which was listed as open so clearly they had issues with the ride board. Even Black Cobra in SWK was open today.

Just some interesting things to note:

-I don't think the rumor that the train tracks were being altered is true. They have a lot of the new track down and there are no indications that they are altering the tracks- just normal new rail beds that they're connecting to the older track. Looks like it should be opening soon.

-Comet was running awesome! Got on the red train in the back. The retracked spots ran very well. It ran much better than my ride at the end of May.

-Flying Trapeze was dismantled even further than what it has been. A lot of pieces are just laying inside the ride area with a cherry picker next to the ride.

One last thing to add is I checked out the new Charley's Saloon. I thought it was going to be in the former Saloon building but it wasn't. It was in a neighboring building and it was smaller but very nice. The old Saloon is still set up for the Halloween Haunt so I'm guessing they are going to keep the haunt set up all the time rather than dismantling and reassembling. Overall, very nice job on the new Saloon eatery. Live music too!
