More importantly, I don't get why they wouldn't run either Scream or NESS. Both would give incredible views of the lights below.

I'm hoping that isn't the full list of rides and they're still deciding if they're going to run more. I'm happy the off-season is shorter but I don't know if I'd go and do this more than once without at least WC open.

You can ride a B&M Floorless, 4D Free Fly, a Classic Wood coaster some solid flat rides in December in Massachusetts for the first time ever. While I'd love for Wicked Cyclone to be open too it blows my mind that the prospect of this alone (combined with the great lights) wouldn't be enough for someone.

Scream could be due to the air pressure with the colder temperatures. That's just a guess, I'm not an expert on that kind of stuff.

I knew they would run thunderbolt which i love so that will get me in the park. I wish they opened the northend instead of the southend but that side of the park is more open and im guessing the tree will go right in front of joker where the stage is usually set up. I can't wait to get more info on whats going on. Im sure they will have a xmas show running in rockville theater.

Personally I think Holiday in The Park is gonna be a huge success, and I’ll definitely be going more than once! Maybe they actually are upgrading thunderbolt to two trains since it will be open during HITP and it has the ace logo? I’m not sure but I’d love to see two trains since Thunderbolt is probably going to be the rollercoaster I ride most during HITP.

It looks like they’ll be opening CAC so hopefully they will make sure the walkway for that area is safe, which I’m sure they will. I wonder if they’ll re-theme any other rides to a Christmas theme like they’re doing with the train.

Yeah seriously. I don't understand the complaining. Be happy the event is coming at all.

Good, then have fun riding absolutely no coasters in November and December. As for the rest of us, we'll be busy having fun.

Also, hours seem to be 2 to 9. In the FAQ section they list that as the hours for New Years Eve. I assume those will be the hours throughout.

And if the event is enough of a success, they can easily open the rest of the North End in 2018. All of the parks started with a smaller park in their first season, then pushed the limits even more in the second season.
