You also need to account for the pumps, water, chemicals, and the fast that a life guard would get paid twice what a scare actor would get paid.
They won;t charge less because they can get people to pay it and as long as attendance in general doesn't drop they won't stop.

The main reason why there is no discount is simply because most people in attendance are pass/membership holders and have already paid.

I think you are underestimating how much it takes on to put on these events. Obviously Water Park is going to cost more to operate but it's not as big of a difference as you may think. Fright fest is a huge undertaking for the park every year, regardless of how much change you as a guest see. Also you are pretty far off about the life guard vs. scare actor pay thing. While they may get paid slightly more it's nowhere near double. I'd say it's almost negligible.

OK, lets say your right and the costs are the same. Then SFNE and in place SFI has no place charging extra. I do know that Santa's Village pays there Life guards twice what most of their employees get.

But with your argument not only dose SFI have little place charging LC and Canobie should be charging more.

But we're getting way off topic.

I've never heard of any place paying their lifeguards twice as much as regular. At Disney and Universal, it's only about a $1-$1.50 difference.

Average pay for a life guest in Mass according to indeed is nearly 15 and hour seasonal workers close to 12. Mass minimum wage is 11. Minimum wage in NH is lower then Mass and staffing in the mountains is harder so more perks are needed.

as for Holiday i the park. I'm hoping to check t out Saturday.

No, no but I didn't take into account SFNE's lake of feign workers compared to local life guards. but enough of a gap that its pay 4 employees get one free.

Went to the park yesterday for the final time this year. It was fairly crowded but not too bad, Harley and Thunderbolt had full queues but everything else was manageable. All of the coasters were running really well, especially Batman and Thunderbolt. I did flashback for the first time since 2014 and it actually wasn't horrible. Got last ride of the night on Harley as well. The park always puts on a great event and I can't wait for 2019!

I visited Saturday. Crowds were light. Got there at nearly 4 and parked next to the parking booths. only waited for Thunderbolt 3 trains and Harley Quin 1 cycle. walked onto everything else.

It was OK I found the kiddie lands seemed to have a lot more then anything else in the park.

The Frost show was very good.

    I've been reporting the posts.

I know on the Whalom forums we can ban IP addresses as well as usernames. Might need to go the IP rout.

I've deleted the posts, but since this person joined over a year ago the Spam Cleaner option isn't available, an admin will have to ban this user. I don't have direct ban powers.

Now back to regular programming in progress...

All set. The username and 7 IP addresses associated with the account have been banned. It looks like they all changed their email address multiple times today.

    Thanks for the leg work

As for Holiday in the park,

I'm hopping if they keep it around they add a few more displays. Main street and the 2 kiddie lands looked nice but I was unimpressed with the rest of the park.
