Membership Parking

Hey guys,

Quick question. I am planning on taking my son down during his spring break next week. If I reserve a membership preferred parking spot, where is the spot located? I can't seem to find a definite answer. Is it the (old) park-side lot, or closer up in the main lot, by where the buses park?

its on the same side as the park so no tram needed to get to the entrance. I believe its for elite diamond members but im not sure.

And you don't reserve a specific space in the preferred D/DE lot, any open space in that lot. Just show each of the attendants a screenshot of your voucher and they'll direct you into the lot.

Do you have to reserve a spot if there are some available when you get there? I usually don't decide to go until the day of. They let me drive right in on opening day with no reservation.

From what I've seen from last year you can book really early in the morning the day of sometimes and it won't be full. But this is like at 5AM. After the online reservation does not give you the option to select the day anymore

For the Diamond/Diamond Elite area you have to reserve in advance.

So I just tried to reserve my parking space for tomorrow, since the rest of the week looks like !@#$. The lot is full, and I am on a waiting list =(. Oh well, I dont mind being in the regular parking lot if I need to.

EDIT: Just got an email with my parking confirmation! Yay!!!

EDIT #2: Do I have to wait until the day of my reservation to print the voucher? All I am getting is a blank web page. Tried my work computer as well as my phone and nothing ?? I don't want SF to 'suspend' my perking reservation perk cause of their crappy system not giving me my voucher.

You can access the voucher any time as soon as you get the e-mail. If you have the e-mail on your phone you don’t need to print it, you can pull it up as a screenshot when you get to the toll booth & they’ll scan it there.
