I know, but it probably won't be open in April. If it is though, we would definitely go.

Hopefully it is! Are you planning on visiting ZDT's?

It depends on how much time we have, but we probably will.

Well we are down to one last trip to SFGADV for 2016 now so the 2017 planning begins.
If we get to most of these parks we will go over 500 coasters ridden together sometime in 2017. We started riding in 1999, so 18 years for 500.

    The usual parks:

    LC
    SFGADV
    SFNE
    Quassy

    New or seldom attended parks

Gunstock (probably be first coaster of 2017)
    Santa's Village
    Playland Castaway Cove
    Edaville
    Casino Pier

2017 Road Trip (really trying for this one as it has been on the boards for two years already and didn't happen)

    Fun Fore All
    Kennywood
    Kentucky Kingdom
    Beech Bend
    Holiday World
    Kings Island
    Coney Island
    Stricker's
    Hershey
    Dutch Wonderland

^ Beech Bend you can knock out all the good stuff in about 2 hours, Holiday World you can hit all the good stuff in about 4 hours. Don't let Kentucky Rumbler's size fool you!
BTW - try to hit Kennywood and Hershey both on weekdays, they both get mobbed on weekends. There's also an ACE member discount for Kennywood - message me for the ticket link.

^If it comes together this July it will be Kennywood on a Thursday and Hershey on a Sunday. The thing about Hershey is that we don't need to ride every coaster since we have been there before and can just target our favorites. The tough day will be Kings Island, Coney Island and Strickers in one day. Fastlane will be a must at KI.

^^^ no Kentucky kingdom Ed? Holiday world is so close to kk only an hour apart. You can get discounted tickets for kennywood at any giant eagle grocery store which there are a few close to the park. Strickers grove can be done in a couple hours as it is the size of quassy.

Yep KK is on the list. That day will be KK, BB and then HW. Aggressive but we will get all the coasters and a few flats at each place. A four day three nights trip to do it all. I'm a driving fool!!

You can also get discounted tickets online if you're an ACE member, that's what Tina & I did this past summer, but I digress...

We are working out all the costs of the trip now. There are ACE discounts at many of the parks. I have some points for hotels, and we will try to avoid eating in the parks as much as possible. We are hoping to do the whole trip, all in, for under $1200. Biggest expense will be Fast Lane Plus for 2 at Kings Island. They do not have their 2017 process up yet but I know it won't be cheap. Last year we got free tickets to HW at Nor'Easter but then couldn't go and gave the tix to friends. Maybe we could get lucky again next weekend.

I haven't figured out my plans yet but with a newer more reliable car as my renewed ACE membership I'm hoping to branch out and hit a few places new and a few places I haven't been to in years.

I'll be going to the usual parks; SFNE and Canobie. Hopefully I can make it down to Lake Compounce and Great Adventure. There's a small chance, but maybe I'll go to HWN and hit Holiday World and Kentucky Kingdom.
