Same with me, I’ll probably be doing one or two coaster trips this year, I do want to try to get to some more events like PPP and ROTB and it will be easier now that my brother and I have a car to ourselves.

    Confirmed Parks

    SFNE
    LC
    Great Adventure
Cedar Point (already got tix with fast lane plus) :D

    Maybe

    Quassy
Hershey (cousin is having a wedding close by, would love to visit again)
    Knoebels (built into CP trip)
    Waldameer (built into CP trip)
Darien Lake (built into CP trip)
Maybe a few other small parks around that area.
    Palace Playland
    Funtown Splashtown

    Wishlist
    Great Escape (still haven’t been)
    La Ronde (why not)
    Kings Dominion (still haven’t been)
    Busch Gardens
    NJ seaside parks

    Confirmed
    -Lake Compounce
    Six Flags New England
    Quassy
    Six Flags Magic Mountain
    Knotts Berry Farm
    Disneyland/ Disney California Adventure
    Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
    California’s Great America

    Maybe
    SFGradv
    Canobie
    Cedar Point
    Funtown Splashtown
    SFGram
    USO/IOA

Would like to get more in, but between this being my summer going into college and working my butt off to save up money, I’m lucky I’m even fitting in these confirmed trips.

Every year my list continues to get smaller and smaller, and honestly I'm not sure why.

I know I'll definitely hit Canobie, but other than that I'm not sure.

SFNE doesn't seem like an option, it's just too expensive for a day. Plus, the ride to get there is tedious.

I missed Lake Compounce last year, as all the closures made the 3 hour ride not seem worthwhile.

However, for my Senior Trip I'm trying to do a Pennsylvania trip, as I love classic rides. Hoping to hit Kennywood, Waldameer, Knoebels, Dorney, Hershey, and possibly Conneaut. We'll see.

I am planning to do a trip that coincides with coaster mania and im also picking up a CF platinum pass since 4 of the parks im hitting are CF.
May 28th Dorney park to get our passes and ride Steel Force.
May 29th Kings Dominion to ride the new RMC
May 30th Dollywood, will the 4th time be the charm for lightning rod????
May 31st Kings Island for mystic timbers
June 1st Cedar point for coaster mania Steel Vengeance and Valravn
June 2nd Knoebels one of my staples
On a side note im skipping kennywood this year for the first time in like 15yrs. I was expecting the new rmc to be ready but it looks like 2019 is more likely.

Of course i will be doing all the local parks multiple times and i might as well make it 10 ROTB events in a row. :)

I don’t have a full list yet but so far I can confirm the following.

    SFNE
Great Adventure - ROTB for sure.
    LC
    GE
Cedar Point - Coastermania and the day after. My first visit ever!

Still looking at a couple other possibilities as well.

    Definitely will hit
    Canobie
    Palace Playland
    York's wild Kingdom

If I get a Season pass
    SFNE
    TGE
    and possibly SFGAdv

    Hopefully
    Santa's Village
    Crainmore Mt Coaster
    Gunstock Mt Coaster
    Edaville

If I get really lucky I might hit a park further out but not sure which ones. I would really like to go back to Rye Playland but I might wait till next year when they open up a few new rides.

I actually prefer SFNE to SFOG. I am not sure I would have said that some years ago but SFNE has improved markedly in the last 5 years. We enjoyed our day at SFOG a few years ago but There was nothing that stood out like STR or WC do for SFNE.

I think Goliath will be nice. Sadly, I doubt Twisted Cyclone will be open when I visit.

I retitled the sticky in the Planning & Meetups thread for the new year and merged the new thread into this one...

    Anyway - my tentative plans:

    Definites:
    SFNE (given)
    LC (ACE Event)
Palace Playland & Funtown Splashtown (ditto)

    Under consideration:
    TGE (another ACE event)
    Conneaut Lake & Waldameer (ditto)
Knoebels & Dorney (annual double-header) - subject to change depending on possible date change for PPP

    So far...
