Santa's Village Discussion Thread

Reticently Santa's Village announced they will expand the HoHo H2O area with 3 new water slides. This is on top of continued capital improvements that will see a refacing and expansion to the Jolly Lolly fudge and candy shop to help complete the new down town and Frosties freezer.

A quick post also mentioned that 2 family members completed a college course in the art of Ice Cream making. so a rumor is floating around that we will see fresh home made Ice cream at Santa's Village this year.

I have a good feeling that they will just be twister body slides. Exactly like the ones at compounce.

They are going to be their own tower right next to it.

The slides will have their own tower. they are more teen adult slides. They are used and will be rehabbed before installation.
The former restaurant expansion will bring in new restrooms, changing rooms, snack stand etc.

I'm pretty happy with their water park it's perfect size now.
I think canobie should be taking notes.

ya, I also didn't have the heart to ask Tom, the owner of Six Gun City, about his thoughts on the addition when I talked with him yesterday.

The park posted on their facebook they they are closed today. Seems last night they had a snow storm that knocked out power to the park.

I appreciate that because YES, THE PARK NEEDS TO UPDATE THE WATERPARK!!!!!!, But it's not all about water parks at Canobie. Their water attractions are better. Santa's Village needs this.

I don't think they needed it but it's a good addition. it gives them extra capacity and opened the door to rehab the restaurant.

The park has done a lot to the park over the last few years and they saw what canobie seem incapable of seeing that the play structure doesn't have the needed capacity.

Instead of starting a new thread I thought it would be best to ask to have this renamed into a Santa's Village general discussion.

We can then take up the conversation that slipped into the Story Land Conversation.

Freakiest show ever. Refurb?

Are you Questioning Referb as if it was or should it be. That is a video of the Reopened Jingle Jamboree. This has new animatronics and a new building. but the show is identical and uses the same soundtrack and animatronic commands as the old show.

I just don't like it. It's just FREAKY
