The email mentions a pass holder picnic at the Goliath patio, but I can't find any information about this. Is it free or a paid event for pass holders? How much? Hours? Menu? Does anyone know more?

Heres a couple things of interest from todays news letter.

Super Hero Summer Celebration July 29 and 30
On July 29 and 30, we're inviting you to a heroic weekend filled with exclusive ride time, special entertainment, and character meet and greets. From 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day, stop by the Main Street Gazebo for games, live DJs, and the chance to win great prizes, like park tickets and Super Hero swag.

We'll have special guest appearances by some of your favorite Super Heroes. In addition, Pass Holders can stick around one hour after closing each day for exclusive ride time on SUPERMAN™ The Ride. Plus, we're honoring our local heroes – all firefighters with valid ID will get park admission for only $19.99 all weekend long!

I can't believe they are actually doing a movie night at the park. I really hope this is a huge success. :)

The LEGO Batman Movie Saturday, July 29
Join us on Saturday, July 29 for a family fun movie night underneath the stars as we feature The LEGO® Batman Movie (rated PG).

Six Flags and MetroPCS will host an in-park movie night, projected onto a 26' inflatable movie screen in the River's Edge Picnic Grove from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event is free with park admission or Season Pass and is open to all guests.

The outdoor movie is a great idea as well as pure genius from a marketing, sales and concessions stand point

What about the movie rights cost? Being a public showing I would think there must be some cost on that front.

That why i said the event would cost around a thousand Dollars. The movie rights for a single showing is not that bad. couple hundred. it depends on The movie and the distribution company.
