I know they just added WC but it is always fun to speculate when and what our new coaster could be. I always wanted a launched wing rider in ME's spot

I want either a intamin launched or wooden coaster but neither will happen knowing SF they will give us a superloop or market SROS as our 2nd coaster

I would like an Intamin Launch because those coasters look amazing, but not a clone, something original

Sorry if this aggravates anyone but SFNE dose not need a coaster anytime soon. They don't need any coaster addition that expands the coaster count. as is there is no location in the park were you can't turn and see a coaster . The math works out to be in the range of a coaster for every 20 acres. That said I picked Wood simply because with Cyclone gone the park has lost a wood coaster.

Things the park could use before this ever happens. (not in order)

-Battle for Mettropolis- the park would feel much more complete with something advanced like this. It's also an exciting major attraction that the whole family can enjoy, not just thrill seekers.

-Flats. And a lot of em'. The park is a shell of it's former self. Although the coaster line up has improved, the flats seem to dissapear almost every season. The ones that we do have are somewhat unique for a sf park (kontiki, buzzsaw, tomahawk) but they run them poorly. A ring of fire and some classical family/thrill flats would fill those empty spots well.

    - Hurricane Harbor Expansion- Let's not forget how much money this gives the park. It is a fantastic water park but it will need a new slide complex in the next few years. They are missing a couple neccesities like a racer slide and a pro bowl.

-Capital Improvements- I guess Bizarro/SROS restoration falls into this category. The park needs to clean up a bit. From apperance to ride conditions. Flashback, Goliath, Bizarro, kontiki and scream are in need of attention.
    -Goliath needs major train work
    -Flashback needs a new look
    - Pandemonium needs some car renovation
    - Scream needs paint, pronto.
    -Batman needs paint
-Kontiki needs a new theme to attract more guests or even just a clean up
    - and Bizarro is just a hot mess at the moment

I know everybody hates when SFNE takes rides out, but Flashback needs to go, it honestly looks so out of place where it is, its a boomerang behind a much bigger boomerang, has similar colors to WC, isn't really a fun ride, and looks kinda gross. There is actually a good amount of space there and could be used for some good flats

Actually I rode in th front row in the middle of the row and had a great ride. No headbanging or jack hammering. It was also very forceful.

First off the park is really in need of only 1 other coaster type to really top off our lineup, that being a custom premier launcher, but I don't see that coming for next year. What I do see coming is a return of superman, a new color scheme for batman (loving MM color scheme for theirs) super loop, and possibly a new slide tower! On top of that (which is already a huge amount for one year) a new flat on Jokers pad like an air race (or nightwing :p) for instance would do the area tons of justice! As far as the launch coaster goes, I would love to see something that spans a good area of the park rather than being confined to a specific pad. I would also like to see Flashback removed and possibly even sent to another park because it still has life left in it (watch out GADV haha) as well as Mind Eraser getting rethemed down the line.

I don't think an air race would go very well on Joker's pad because the theming wouldn't be there unless they themed that to batman and redid Batman: The Dark Knight, which wouldn't be a bad idea since Batman is in a weird spot, just doesn't go. It would be cool if they redid it with bright colors and themed it towards HH since it is right next to it. But thats far fetched. My guess for next year is a super loop in Twisters spot and SROS back

Yeah that would be my guess too. SROS should be a big chunk of money.

Face it A super loop will be added and they will count it as a coaster. It's sad but SFi is crooked that way. I Agree with that they need. though I still think we will see water park then Superman. I know there is another movie coming out but I don't think that will drive the change.
In my opinion they are about equal in quality. yes Goliath is bigger but I don't find that translates into the forces of the ride. I Don't see it going anytime soon but This is a ride that I don't see having much staying power in the long run.
I agree a launch coaster is a type they don't have. do I think the park is lesser because they don;t have one no. while it would be nice to see a sprawling coaster,it's not going to happen. not without removing a bunch of attraction for 1 and even then you are still likely to have a mostly compact coaster. The only way I can see a spraying coaster added is if it started were twister was along with taking over Kontiki's space and then expanding out and into Thomas town. that or take over water park.

Though i personally have wanted to see some of the older slides removed or relocated towards the road so that the park can have more space.

I think I've posted this every year since like 2013. Might as well make it a tradition till it happens... :)
