    It was going to be almost exactly what GA has. But they got crazy and started building the thing before they had all the permits. They then filed for permits but the fire codes would require much had to be changed to be approved. SFI cut their losses (passing inspection was going to be a bitch once they pissed off the building inspectors by starting work without permits) stopped construction, tore it down and sent all that was salvageable to SF Mexico where it operates today.

    I also heard the building being constructed was a foot off position according to the submitted plans. It was a dumb move on SFNE's part. but in the long run we still got a mouse.

    I figure you may get another 15-30 years out of Superman as long as they maintain it . Could be longer, but who knows lol

    Yep it was three years later though and a used outdoor model from Kentucky Kingdom. No building probably gives them more flexibility on replacing that coaster though. Which I wouldn't mind as it is pretty much our least favorite coaster in the park along with Goliath.

    The plot of land for GCG could be used for a lot of things down the road. Realistically they could easily move GCG over by Wild Wheelz and Mind Eraser , Then It would fit the correct theme in a way since its a batman coaster lol Then they could add 2-3 flats over there to add more stuff to the section . I doubt any more Justice League Rides are getting built . Though I'm still holding out hope for a Dark Ride in The park, but if they wanted they could add a wonder woman coaster in GCG spot and either move GCG or send it off to Great Escape

    Worst thing they could have done was take out that stunt arena in the first place. I know we all want rides but that show was spectacular. I miss it so much.

    The Show was awesome, I saw it a couple of times, I wish they didn't tear it down either, but the mentality is , how can we build attendance year after year, so things get torn down and replaced with the so called latest and greatest. For awhile SFNE lacked and didn't care about Show Offerings at the park, but the last couple of years has shown that they are willing to add some stuff as I guess more and more people are watching them, as people want more entertainment. Graveyard Groove and Frost showed that alone, Add in David Garrety and that Timeless Show at the Rockville Theater and you saw some awesome stuff going on. They had the Scooby Do Game Show by Kidzopolis that I kept missing and for Fright Fest the Awesome Freak show Creep Show in front Of The Joker ! So they have shown they can add some great shows to the park. I know other Six Flags Parks Shows have won awards .

    Now you just have GCG sitting in an odd place that was originally for a stunt show , GCG you can tell isn't meant to be a keeper, but a place holder for the future . Will it be a Wonder Woman Coaster? Maybe some smaller compact Coaster? Maybe a dark ride of some kind? Maybe flat rides in that spot! Maybe we see Cabwoman's Whip get moved over there with a flat or two and maybe a coaster goes in that area by Mind Eraser !

    it dose since you don't have toe repurpose or remove a building. It's also my leave favorite coaster. I can ride the same model with fewer blocks at Funtown which makes it a bit more fun.
    I fully agree. The stunt show while Sub par compared to the ones i have seen at many parks was still the only attraction of its kind in the region and a lot of sun to watch. it also gave that a seating a large seating area that could be used for other events. I watched it at least once every trip and I always saw the show half to mostly full every time.

    It would of been neat if they kept it, but oh well I guess lol

    I still say that plot of land is ripe for the taking !!

    I will bet though we end up with a Wonder Woman Coaster next lol

    I just see GCG leaving or moving else where in the park . GCG obviously beglongs over by Batman and as we have talked about could go by mind reader and the rumor of the area of a retheme

    True they could relocate it but they never needed it. There are parks in the chain that could see value in it and SFNE needs flats and that foot print could hold 1-2 flats that would most likely get the same if not more capacity.
