SFNE's next coaster?

If GCG is to do anything, I think you’ll see it completely removed and either scrapped, or moved to a different park. Logically there’s no reason for them to spend the money to tear down and build elsewhere. The coaster is something we don’t need anymore.

^Chiller!!! Sigh........... It was a favorite. We only got to ride the Blue side once in all the times we visited. If they ever take it out of storage and opened it, I might have to take a trip to Brazil!! LOL

Back on topic, I only saw the Batman show one time and even though I am a coaster person I must admit the show was a better use of that space than GCG.

Best case scenario is to move GCG to Great Escape in that old show building and then put either some flats or a Justice League where it was.

I do want gcg gone but you know it wont go its a family coaster if anything it gets moved to south side or moved somewhere down in metropolis and rethemed. Or i see cat woman moved somewhere in the park and they use that area for gcg or a rmc raptor/trex. And i do see a eventual rebuild around that whole area of metropolis with more flats and new coaster and new buildings with a updated hall if justice or it moved out of the area. They have a ton of room if you move some things around also there is alot if wasted space down there they need to do something to that area bad.

I highly doubt Gauntlet is going anywhere. It’s usually one of the top 5 busiest rides in the park, and we’ve gotten over hour waits in the peak season. Kids love it, and families all ride it together.

It's not he park only family coaster they Have Pandemonium, Catwoman's Whip, and thunderbolt. All 3 are better coasters.

I'm a bit confused what part of the park are you referring to as Metrolopis. GCG is already located DC area which you also refereed to as Metropolis. So how can they relocate the coaster there? Why would they pay to relocate catwoman, then relocate GCG a couple hundred feet over. They would also have to remove the hall of justice building to fit it there.

I agree we have seen little done to that area since it opened. thy removed the arena and added GCG, Removed nightwing and plopped din Joker after removing it from the building. it's building was turned into the Justice league arena meet and great but the outside looks about the same. They removed the fountain for a game. none of these are really positive changes.

I call dc metropolis since they tried to theme it to superman. Gcg can go next to mind eraser where the bathroom and game is or scrap it would make more sense sorry to confuse you on that. but knock the hall down make room there for flats where gcg is either add the rmc or a bunch of flats or build a new improved hall with a show inside. Either way that area needs improvments bad. I would say that area is in for some love just as bad as the waterpark. They have the space in the dc area do something with it.

^The problem with anything down in that area is that it won’t be open for HITP. Any new indoor attraction should be put in a different spot that will be open.

That bathrooms in the South End are used for more than bathrooms. The upstairs and other side are employee areas. You won’t see that removed.

I agree the area needs work but there isn't a lot of space The park needs to keep X amount of Cream space and they keep taking out more and more so they need what they have. Yes they can tear things down and remove GCG, face it if it comes down its not going anywhere else in the park, But we are only talking about a half dozen flats at most. keep in mind you need queue and electrical/pump buildings. and if thy are going off the Metrolopis theme you don't have much to go on. They already have a superman and kriptinite. they have super girl lex Luther and Braniac. They don't need to be using Bizzaro again that likely won;t go over that well. They can do the DC studios seen in some parks. that might go by better and allows then to keep the themed they have and use far more characters that are not specifically Gotham related.

I think this would be a fun addition. but were and sadly likely not that big.

(Six Flags Magic Mountain)

Honestly, if they just changed "Metropolis" to these theme, you could do a lot more. Magic Mountain has a standard round-up, and musik express themed to Wonder Woman and Flash. Both look great, and it adds flats to the park. Do this to our DC area and you could add whatever from the DC Universe and it could work, coasters included.

We seem to be on the same general page. The generic DC focused theme allows them to use any character from the universe.
