I think the most likely scenario will be replacing Flashback with a SuperLoop. Yeah, they'll market it as a coaster, but so what? It's an addition to the flat line-up, and SFNE desperately needs that.

There's no doubt in my mind that SROS will return in the next 5-10 years. The ride is 15 years old now, and is definitely showing its age. A little TLC and a retheme would do wonders for it.

After Flashback, the question becomes what the next coaster on the chopping block is, and we all know the answer to that: Mind Eraser. I think, when ME gets the boot, a launched inverted coaster will replace it. Something like Wicked Twister would fit in quite nicely.

@Equinox , While I don't completely disagree the sad part of your ideas are they are both downgrades from the original coaster. a wicked twister, while thrilling, would be a huge downgrade from Mind Eraser.

Well I don't see us getting a super loop in 2018. If we were getting one I think it would be next year so we might actually see a real roller coaster in 2018.

I only created this thread to discuss what that second coaster may be in our 5 year plan. I don't think a new roller coaster should be a huge priority at the time but it's awesome if we do actually get another good coaster in 2018, whether it's launched or not.

I actually do think Movie town will eventually go. and if Flashback goes and with a removal Great Chase relocated that wouldn't be a horrible place for a coaster. With the area gone it could also house a small flume ride.

See I see water park in 2016. so that means new dry park addition in 20017 or 18. If Superman is in that it may simply be the only addition like ti was before along with other capital improvements and possibly new shows. so if that comes in 2017 that still puts up as 2018 for a new dry park addition.

I don't think Mind Eraser will be next. They just got new OTSRs for this season

^They did. But they're the same type of restraint. The red train is running very smooth but the terquoise train is running like crap.

I'll be money that Mind Eraser is not the next to go.

Didn't Six Flags buy the rights to the X Flight design? If so I'm pretty sure they would have plans to clone it.

Yeah. If a coaster is getting removed, it's definitely going to be Flashback.

Could a Superman Ultimate Flight clone fit in Flashback's spot?

^Most likely. But the park doesn't need another poor capacity ride.

Even if Flashback leaves, I can't see it going anytime soon.
