I know this is crazy but what if they made the skyway support towers like an observation towers?? Have spiral staircase leading up and have the top of the tower be a flat platform (just an idea)

    1. Why
    2. Costs money
    3. Only one way (clusters of people going up and down)
    4. Pointless to observe the broken down green thing and kiddie rides

They are most likely going to use the North End for WiCy, the South End will remain unused, and the towers will probably remain (why spend money)

It would be cool and cost alot of money to make a crosswalk between the towers!

problem with both of these ideas is fire safety laws would prevent both. The cost of removing the towers is not that high and scraping the metal will cover it. Also removing the towers will allow then to widen the midway in north end.

It's the zip line no doubt. Maybe that's for next year? It is a way of transportation..

He was probably just trying to make it seem like they are replacing rides as fast as they are removing them. Which is mainly not true (3 for 1 in 14 and 2 for 1 in 15).

That zip thing did look pretty cool but capacity would be bad and would probably be an up charge. Would be cool to have it go towards the grove area and back.

I don’t see any possibilities with reusing any of skyway’s towers. Only practical thing I can think of is a light package, and even they are too lazy to spend money on that. It just seems the only things they are putting their budget on now are coasters, and practically nothing else.

They have been doing pretty good with lighting. Pandy looks great now and I am sure WiCy will have some killer lighting effects. I really wish they would spill the rest of the secrets lol. I think the hype level will double once they reveal everything lol.

It would be pretty dumb to light the towers, they will probably just take them down.

But taking them down would cost money. I think there gonna just leave them there for now. And Pandemonium is a coaster, so of course they would spend a little bit of money making it look nicer.

Im still hoping they sell skyway instead of scrapping it. I could see that surfing zipline going in its spot in the future. I can't wait till February for the rest of the announcements. :)

I like the idea of an observation tower even if logically/legally/financially it's impossible. Though the zipline didn't stand out to me it'd be a nice addition. Maybe they'll keep a couple pods and repurposed them as a tribute somehow.

Whats really puzzling is why they even took this ride down in the first place. Its not like it suffers the most technical difficulties in the park, and tried making it more reliable by adding new trains, only to make things worse.

That woudl be a pathetic zip line. I have been on Tree strung zip lines that were taller and longer. Something that short in height and length would loose appeal quickly.

I think they are probably just going to scrap the towers. If they aren't going to do that, they are probably just gonna leave them their and do nothing.
