I'm not saying if they brand it they automatically get the charchters back. I'm saying thatg with a big branding move they might look into bringing them back. Espically if they decided to go in the direction of the dark ride.

You made it seem like it was a big thing to pull the Justice leauge license from the park but it really wasn't. The park had no Justice League rides. All they had was a batmobile and characters walking around. Loony Tunes is what required some money to rebrand as Timber Town.

I was referring to branding as a whole not just justice league or just loony Tunes. The SFI game plan has no place at TGE and doesn't fit

The Go-Kart/Pirate Ship area is just a matter of time before that becomes waterpark, in my opinion.

I think we're at an awkward place where we could use a coaster, we could use a water park addition, I'm sure corporate thinks the park could use more kiddie rides, and I even think we're due for a "down year" with little to nothing like a show or something. Can't all happen in 1 year obviously so for me, it will be interesting to see.

See I was thinking down year but what would you consider Buccenear Beach? I mean I think that was the down year. That was only 1 year ago.

I think it will be more of a down year. Between Greased Lightning, the re-themed Hot Rod USA area, the Comet re-tracking and some various park upgrades, this past off season was pretty good in my opinion. Id like to see some of the rides get a little tlc. Canyon Blaster really needs a new paint job and Desperado Plunge could use some work too. I would love to see a new flat or coaster, but I'm not counting on it.

I would hate to see an off year at TGE. At least add a Family flat to say Ghost town and use that addition to justify the parenting CB and do some work to Plunge.

Fair warning, I’m suffering from off-season blues, so this might be because my mind was wandering today:

Anyone else find it odd that Great Escape removed three family rides for HH this year, when they could’ve taken out to Go-Karts and used both that and Pirate’s old pad? I didn’t see Go-Karts operating too often this year, and literally saw Bobsled going once this year when I was going pretty much weekly. This won’t be 2020 probably, but I think the choice to axe Kidzopolis as opposed to a smoking area and upcharge attraction means there might be some plans there for the future.

It did seem odd. I guess they felt the go carts made enough money to merit keeping them.

They will be adding zoom keys to the water park so no seporate dry park area

They only removed Krazy Kars which there is already the same ride in the park ( thunder ally). Zoomjets is staying where it is, and the teacups are being moved to timber town.

Despite how often they might be open, go karts actually make the park money which is why they won't be touched anytime soon.
