ACE is invited to media day which will be on the 20th or 21st so if your interested in going and didn't get the email you have to email the ACE NE Rep to let him know if you can attend. The date is going to be determined by how testing goes this week.

Good to hear, wish it wasn't right on top of Sky Screamer Media day. 2 huge trips in one week is tough and my membership is lapsed right now.

Just got home from Story Land media day for Roar-O-Saurus. The weather wasn't nice but we had a good time. It was a long drive (220 miles each way) but it was nice to see some folks we hadn't seen since last season. Eric was surprised to see us there too. As for the coaster, it is a winner!! It was much more forceful than what we expected and we liked it more than WW @ Quassy. It will become the first "big" coaster for lots of kids this summer. I hope it doesn't scare the hell out of too many of them!! LOL It is very re-rideable as we did several stints of multiple rides during our 20 rides. We rode in just about every seat and row between the two of us. Back Row was the best to us. Some folks liked row two seat 1 the best. The front was a little tough today because it was raining most of the time. All in all it was a good day. We also saw their Roar-O-Saurus merchandise and they are gonna make a ton of $$ on that aspect too.

How was the airtime? Ejector (most likely not), Extreme, Wowful, Average, Floater, mediocre, or none (not)...

There was ejector on almost every hill! There were 2 floater moments, one before you turn around the first drop and the other right before the picture. This was a very good ride, with amazing airtime and ejector moments.

Glad you had a good trip and liked the coaster.

Now to figure out my first trip. my ride fell through for tomorrow. Maybe Monday. I have a season pass so I will be up soon enough and many times this year.

What the Hell is Russ talking about. you can't rid anything like it unless you go to Sweden? Why not simply say that wood coaster always give you an unique ride.

Soon we can start speculating what they will get in 3 years.

He's comparing it to the experience on Twister at Grona Lund.

I get what he was trying to do but it's not needed. Also they way he makes it sound the only other Gravity group coaster is the one at Grona Lund. Why not play the history card this is the first wooden coaster built in NH in nearly a decade.

But i highly doubt this coaster will need a gimmicky statistic to get peoples attention.
