I don't see anything wrong with what he said. Twister at Grona Land is probably the closest cousin to Roar-O-Saurus and if you thought he insinuated this is the only Gravity Group coaster in North America you must have been listening to a different clip than what I saw. Considering there are only nine coasters in NH, very few compared to many other states, saying it is the first or whatever in NH is pretty underwhelminmg.

Besides -"First wooden coaster built in NH in nearly a decade" ?? What woodie was built in NH after YC moved to Canobie in 1936?

Wildcat at Pine Island built in 29 is the last wood coaster built new in NH before Roar. Cannonball was relocated and at the turn of the century Canobie and Pine Island both sported figure 8 side friction coasters.

if you looking at added Cannonball was the last. Though we would have seen a new wood coaster around 89 if Benson's hadn't closed and Canobie had been looking into a CCI before they went under.

Anyways Back to Roar, The state and Region needed a solid addition like this. Let Palace make the big investments it doe nothing but help all the other attractions. Just wish plans to visit this weekend hadn't fallen through.

Now I am confused. In your previous post you said "first wooden coaster in NH in nearly a decade" and now you cite 1929. Did you mean first wooden coaster in New England in nearly a decade rather than NH?

NH, but I had meant to put Century not decade.

New England saw Wood coasters every decade since the 80's

The ride squeaks loudly apparently. I can hear it through the video.

The coaster dose not squeak but it dose have a shimmer throughout the ride. A bit backlogged but but I have a Trip Report coming.

Story Land will have a $40 season pass on Black Friday and $20 day passes.

Looks like they are available now too, probably will take them down soon though...

Glad to see they are discounting them. I grabbed one lat year but only got to the park twice. My parents also bought passes for them and my niece and made it up there 4 times.

That got that set up quick. I have a season pass I might go that day regardless of attending the event.

A Pleasant Surprise, must have been a bit last minute . I talked with the park before Nor Easter and they were only planing a few capital improvements and riding out Roar. did any of the Place Ent parks remove a similar ride?

it's an interesting location. it seems to be in the Humpty Dumpty location so I guess that will be relocated. It would be the only ride in that area. Well i have a season pass and will likely hit opening day or the weekend after so I will have to check it out.
