The Great Escape 2020 Speculation

I feel like if we get a Disk’O it has to be a coaster because we already have Supernova.

Why's that. SFNE has a Giant inverted boomerang and a boomerang. They have a huss Frisbee and a Zamperla Giant Discovery. SFI has no reservations of staking similar rides.

like I pointed out the skater is a more enjoyably ride over the disko. They also have the stand up surfer option

I wouldn’t necessarily complain if we got a Disk’O, I just hope we don’t because we have a similar ride.

If we get a flat, I’d like one or a few of the following:

-Zamperla Power Surge
-Zamperla Hawk
-Zamperla Air Race
-Zamperla Twist-And-Bounce
-Zamperla Endeavor
-Technical Park Super Miami
-Technical Park Wild Spark
-Technical Park Baseball
-Gerstlauer Sky Fly
-Chance Aviator
-Chance Unicoaster


If we get something else:

-Space Themed Dark Ride by Comet
-Vekoma Mad House in Storytown themed to Alice in Wonderland (move the props in the walkthrough to the line queue and use that area for a new ride)

Not even gonna bother doing a coaster.

I'm sure they are all fun rides. TGE is one of the only parks in the chain were the crap capacity of a n air race would be less of a concern. but how would all those rides fit into the park. I don't mean specifically space but in the sense of some of those are very carnival like and would simply look out of lace. which is the issue with the power surge. Same with the Technical Park Super Miami. Though if they were going to get a ride like that they can get one form wisdom for half the cost and have local support.

I get your point but can’t someone raise the same argument with Pandemonium and Greezed Lightnin’? They are very carnival-esque rides that TGE managed to make look really well. One thing TGE has on other parks is that they look nice, whereas other parks would just plop the Power Surge somewhere and call it a day. I’m certain they can make it work if they get it.

I can;t speak for Pandinomium since i have not seen it but know they did a lot of landscaping and work around the ride. Greezed lightning sticks out like a sore thumb.

Technically they can throw any ride into the park.

but then what dose the ride do for the park. any ride can add capacity or give a thrill but if its just a ride for a sac of the ride it can be less them memorable. Canyon Blaster is not an amazing coaster but it is one of the bet themed Mine trains I have been on. Better then the mine train at SFGAdv.

I think one of the biggest issues with the company as a whole now and why the additions aren't all that exciting is the additions are just simple rides with really nothing done to them.

I think the Power Surge at Knoebels looks nice, but even if we don’t get that something like a Hawk or Air Race would be really good for TGE. We need more inverting flats.

I think they could do more to the air race and especially the hawk to make them look better and more fitting for the park.

They are my two favorite ideas for the park in terms of flats right now. Six Flags and Zamperla have a great relationship so this is entirely possible.

I wish GE would get a Sky Screamer (200-ish foot model) where The Flying Trapeze is. It would be such a nice view of the mountains I think it would be a good fit, plus a small reno at that section of the park

It's a cool idea but the parks max height is across the property. There is a reason Sasquatch is at the front of the park where the Terran is at one of its lowest points in the property. They may also not be able to fit it without also removing the sky ride. There is also the matter of queue.

I do hope Great escape gets something good for 2020, Maybe 2020 is their year!

We can Always hope. Watch the park end up with Green Lantern

If they converted it to a floorless, I would be all for it!
