Yeah our Joker doesn't have that mechanism, as mentioned.

I really do like the ride cause it is fun. I love the placement of it in our park & like the look of it but same thing is happening at our park with the GP...& I hate to admit it but they have a right to be upset. This was marketed in all our update vids (which were posted to Facebook where most the GP are seeing) that you wild flip 6 times & some people (mainly purple/yankee side) don't flip at all but do tilt upside down. They want to flip. No rock back & forth. It feels toned down when it really could be insanity.

They did this at Great America last week. I believe those are back though.

Just got off "Fin-Free" Joker and it's still fun. Actually flipped more than I did with fins. Got 3 1/2 flips. Feels less intense, unfortunately.

Wow, Great shot, Stinks that they are removing brakes and it still isn't good. I agree that after a couple years of operating rides they haven't figured things out.

They aren't removing brakes, they removed the Magnetic Flip spins.

I'm at the park now and it seemed to flip more. Haven't ridden it yet but it looked like it flipped 4 times or so on the green side and 1 or 2 on purple.

Didn't the one in Texas get stuck several weeks ago and then caused all the Joker rides to shut down for a day or 2?

I know what it's for. but it is essentially a brake fin. but instead of grabbing on to the train to slow it down it's grabbing another section to pull the seats. it's still a brake.

This is disappointing. though at least it didn't get picked up all over the place. I remember a time Mind Eraser got stuck on the second brake run and the NH news channel made a big deal out of it.
