I see Cyclone leaving for sure within 2-3 weeks. It will become Iron Cyclone.

I for some reason actually do see Goliath leaving if the park can't fix it. Other SF parks had problems with theirs and tossed it. MM kept it I feel like because it added to their coaster count, which (fortunately) went down with its removal. The new train is ROUGH. And I mean ROUGH!! I agree it's new and all, so my hopes aren't up, and I feel like SFNE will let it age, but if the new train isn't removed, I'd like to see it go.

I didn't want to make a new thread for this but I was wondering what everyone would think of this.
If we were to receive a relocated coaster from another six flags park, what coaster would you want/could you see it being and in what location! Personally I'd love to see batwing come to the park possibly in mind erasers/Catwomans spot, although I'd hate to see SFA loose arguably their best coaster

Also this has always been a dream of mine, to receive either Jokers Jinx or Poltergeist come to the park and be located in whistlestop but that won't happen now that they relocated season pass processing, I could also see this being a good fit in the plaza where slingshot is, or on RT 66 plot of land, or even where GCG is

I think I'd rather see a new custom coaster before any relocated one. That said though, Poltergeist and Joker's Jinx look like fun rides- but what's all this talk that SFI won't launch the trains at full speed on Joker's Jinx? Don't know if it's true or not but could explain Joker's valleying twice this year.

Who wouldn't rather a new custom built coaster, the only reason I'm bringing this up is because six flags has a trend to do this with the less popular parks in the chain

Look at all the SFI parks, I'd say SFNE is one of the more popular parks in the chain. It's the only park in Massachusetts!
I'm sure it's the same reason as tearing down all their woodies, it's maintenance costs.

I rather would prefer parks to tear down the woodies and replace them with brand new woodies. They have the same cost.

True, but those will just age badly. Look at Apocalypse at SFMM. One of the roughest GCIs and it's been 5 years. SFI doesn't like to maintain them!

Let's see how well Goliath at Six Flags Great America can hold up.

Well, with Cyclone gone, the question becomes: What's next?

We know that SFNE's five year plan includes two new coasters. Of course, with Iron/Steel Cyclone essentially confirmed, that leaves a new coaster coming somewhere further down the line. What will it be? Where will it be? Will an old coaster be shown the door to make room? What's going to happen?
