Obviously if the area reopened it woudl reopen with the only Unique attraction that was introduced with the original area.

So The plan is to reopen an area with 4 rides 2 of which are identical rides with different themed tubs.

train...bus...helicopters (but now the old plane ride from Tiny Timber Town)???

I honestly get confused why if someone knows information, why it can't be told cleary so there are not so many questions. What is going on with this area that we can know?

Not to come off as an a-hole, but because people can't keep quiet on here, the news spreads and it gets the park mad. Remember when Goliath was in the works of coming over to SFNE. Everyone on Facebook knew about the ride coming before the park could even announce it. Everyone jumped the gun on the Star Flyer, and we were wrong. The park is happier with the site when we keep our mouths shut until it's announced. Very few people know the plans about whatever is going on (I personally don't know any more than the rest of you), and it's best to keep it like that.

It was pointed out when I thought the photo was of Herold that the ride pictures was Flying aces ad plane ride. since it is a separate ride int eh area unless Herold is gone, you are left with 4 rides in the area the train, bus, Helicopters and planes. The helicopters and plans are both the same basic Zamperla kiddie ride with different theming but basically identical rides.
Why would it be called Tiny Timber town. That was the name of the kiddie area before Wiggles world. On top of that there are no Timbers what so ever in the fully exposed area. The name and theme was fitting to the Now Kidzopolis area but makes no sense in Thomas town.

It seems the rumors were true and Thomas town will return for 2013 with a New name "Whistle Stop Park"

Interesting, not much fanfare, you figure they would want to make some sort of announcement if the area is reopening.
