Funny with all the work done on WC that it's scheduled to open Summer of 2015 yet TC will open Spring of 2015.

I think that's just them being conservative. The press release for NESS said the same thing.

Dood. We get that you're sad Cyclone is gone. Stop implying your feelings towards the transformation, we've heard it a million times before...

I do like the inverted banking on some of the airtime hills, however. The layout looks a lot better than I had imagined.

That's the general consensus I've seen from various sites.

I would say that as well. Both look great though. It's just the track color and not really like the original that does it for me.

I have to say, I'm impressed. Wicked Cyclone looks to be a worthy "Son of Cyclone". Now am I correct in thinking that the three foot shorter lift hill (Cyclone's lift was 112, with a first drop of about 80 feet before the 2001 renovation) which has all that structure being added to it, that that extra structure is to "pull back" the point of first drop (instead of making a higher first drop as we first thought)? I wonder if that could account for the shorter overall length of the track (Cyclone was 3600 feet versus Wicked Cyclone's 3320)? Frankly, Wicked Cyclone looks to have a longer layout with a lot more elements, so I'm curious.

Wicked Cyclone looks like Texas Giant and Medusa had a baby.
